I am a self-taught artist working primarily in acrylics and watercolors. My subjects are mainly seascapes and beach scenes inspired by places I have visited in my travels along the coastlines of the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean. I also paint novelty items such as mailboxes, toilet seats, trays, satellite dishes and egg shells, mostly as consignments or upon request of patrons.
Even though I grew up in western Pennsylvania, I have always been drawn to the sun and the sand and the sea. I never feel more at peace than when I am on or near the water.
In my art, I try to convey my feelings and reflect that love of the seaside.
