	My paintings are about texture and color. I like to take one idea, sometimes even just one word, and try to put it down on the canvas using as many layers as possible. I donâ€™t intentionally insert symbols into my paintings. When I am finished other people construct their own interpretation of the piece. I enjoy watching them find objects, animals, and people that I did not intentionally paint.
