~Why the name GALLERY ZOO ART?

It best represents who I am as an artist. Having spent many years in animal management and conservation, wildlife and nature are in my blood and heart.

~~HOW I CREATE~~

I paint and photograph nature in both REALISM and ABSTRACT--I can't seem to see the world with one set of eyes. Some days I crave to create using realism, to forge a relationship and sense of intimacy with a subject using MY voice. Other days, I simply crave to explore color, line, shapes, form, movement...whimsy, so I let the paint, brush, and canvas speak THEIR voices. Often I have two projects going on simultaneously, allowing me to bounce back and forth as the mood strikes me.

PAINTINGS: Each painting is an original, authentic piece of art created and signed by me. Only professional grade acrylic paints and canvases are used. Each painting is finished with a coat of satin gloss to protect from UV light. Paintings are professionally packaged when shipped.

PHOTOGRAPHS: Each print is made from an original image created by me and personally printed by me on professional grade Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster. Only the highest quality archival inks are used. Every print is signed. Only acid-free archival mat boards are used. Prints are shipped flat in plastic archival sleeves.
