I love the watercolor medium for its transparency, luminosity, and how the colors bleed together. I try to create paintings that are interesting to look at, and yet technically challenging.
Yupo is my favorite new painting surface. It really allows watermedia to shine and brings out the best aspects of it. My opinion of course. : )
