Have you ever noticed how things change from day-to-day? This is especially characteristic of artists--or at least me. I am inspired always by every-day life.

April 2008 is change for me. Another birthday for me, and my mother, after a very good, long life, she passed on. Her life in retrospect is to be celebrated. She was my strength, and I'm happy to have had a mother like her. My daughter graduates from college in May and she carries on the family passion for life by expressing herself through fine arts--ceramics. I have a lot to be thankful for in this life. And now I venture on to see where my next painting series takes me.
I am exploring feng shui and studying how feng shui art makes a difference.
On April 20th, I posted my last butterly painting for the Beauty of Change series. I may be doing more, but for now, while I truly enjoy doing unique butterfly paintings, I also need to see how well they are received.
I will be showing some of the b-fly paintings in an exhibit at a local gallery in October and November, 2008.
I am a self-taught artist, and I work full time in a library.
Stay tuned.....I'll be back with more inspired art! [
