I am a Missouri artist who became interested in art at a young age, majored in art in college, and graduated from Truman State University in 1990 with a B A in art. I painted commissioned artwork for a few years before recently deciding to sell my work online. I paint because of the creative fulfillment it provides. I prepare preliminary compositions and sketches and have a good idea how I will work with a painting, but I look forward to the peaks and valleys, and the changes the work will end up with along the way before I feel that it reflects my ideas and the quality that I want to present.
