The raw photograph is no more a finished piece of art than an unsharpened pencil is a fantastic drawing. I enjoy taking my photographs to an emotional place through my use of digital manipulation. The end result reveals how I felt at that particular moment and what *I* saw through the camera lens. Much like the raw photograph, our eye is only the first stop in our human image building process. Through my work I hope to show what the final image looks like at the end of it's journey through the mind. |
