I am a graphic designer and always have crazy ideas. Sometimes these ideas go beyond what my job can accept and then transform into my drawings, my writing, my photos...... and fortunately not into my behaviour.
My pictures are collages of line drawing, computer graphics and sometimes photos and/or text. I believe that a good picture can inspire you to think something or convey a feeling every time you see it. Therefore the first priority in my work is concept rather than style or technique.

My pictures are collages of line drawing, computer graphics and sometimes photos and/or text. I believe that a good picture can inspire you to think something or convey a feeling every time you see it. Therefore the first priority in my work is concept rather than style or technique.
Born and grown up in Hong Kong, I am influenced by both the Eastern and Western culture. I love drawing picture since I was a girl. When I was trained as a graphic designer, I was amazed by different drawing media. However, there is sometimes in my life that I have not drawn anything at all. Creating illustrations for my client is an exception. I picked up drawing (for myself, not for my job) again in 2005 and still enjoy it.
In 2005, I created a character and applied it in stories and pictures. A book featuring it was published in 2006. Besides, I have written a short love story in my blog from 2006 to 2007. Now, I am writing another novel.
About my signature:
Before 2005, I signed my picture with my real name or did not sign at all.
From 2005, I signed my picture as "Siu O" in Chinese.
From December 2007, I have added a bird's line drawing to the left side of my signature.
Also, I use to write down the date when I sign.
Though every picture has a computer file and can make a lot of copies, I aim to sell only 1 copy. If you like a picture but it is already sold. You can contact me to draw another one with similar style and theme, but I do not sell one picture twice. [
