I will be traveling on business and pleasure from October 11th through October 27th. You may still place orders, but I will be unable to process them until I return back to my studio. I will be traveling to Istanbul, Greece and Egypt. Most of the fibers I use I ship from Turkey! This trip will be exciting in many ways. On my return I will be installing an exhibition of my work in Delaware. The past month has been busy with commission work and gallery work. My work changes in and out of galleries and this is the time of year for jewelry and especially hats. I am only supplying 5 locations with hats - I can be quick, but not quicker than that! Plus my Fine Art business is my primary business.
I cannot always guarantee a hat is available until I check in with the location that it went out to, if indeed it left the studio for another location. I will place more on, but they take time to list. Enjoy, and I will quickly address any orders upon my return.
I have been busy with installing an exhibition of my work in Delaware and getting new work to the other galleries that carry my work. It can be extra exciting around the holiday season in the studio and meeting the gallery requests. I have a new series that will be leaving the studio for the galleries " Graces", I will try to have them on BG shortly. They are on the smaller side of the size scale, but are still a nice size. Each piece is rendered on archival/ acid free primed heavy stock, in which a "Grace" or prayer has been written. That grace, in many cases will barely be visible, but the fact remains it is there and a feeling of script remains. A copy of the grace will be included.
A collection of my Fiber Arts will be going to a gallery on Saturday, November 16th, and a large collection of my jewelry and Fiber arts will be going to a Trunk show on the 22nd of November for Holiday sales. Those that are on BG will be included, so if you are interested in an item, purchase now. I will try to have more during the colder months, I do have a collection of funky scarfs that I haven't even placed on BG yet!

Painting professionally since 1975, I am passionate about all art, however I am known especially for my textural collaged surfaces and muted, tonal hues. These key elements create the support for my many figurative pieces. I paint and draw with oil, oil on paper, conte', watercolor, encaustic, pencil and mixed-media.
I am a constant explorer; wanting to grow and expand my techniques. I never compromise good craftsmanship and an archival support.
As a mother of three, I found my children to be wonderful models, and exciting documents of growth. I am an active lecturer in the fine arts, and work with numerous high school students in portfolio development for college admissions and post-graduate work. Since 1986, has been a fine art instructor for De Sales University. It is easy, the excitement is to love what you do with such a passion, and creating fine art and teaching is just that. I find that I am eager to learn and experiment everyday and equally as passionate to educate others. Traveling throughout Europe has also inspired my work and it's coloration.
My Fine Art work does not stop with the two dimensional. I have a line of pottery; in particular I do mouth blown pottery. I have a line of jewelry which can be found on Boundless Gallery. Jewelry design and creation started when growing up with my Mother. And a line of knit and crocheted items. All of which are carried by galleries and now are made accessible to the wonderful clients of Boundless Gallery.
