I was born in 1958 in New London, Ct. and grew up in Waterford along the Niantic River. I have always loved to draw. As a child, I learned from my father who loved to draw and paint as well. After graduating from Pratt Institute with a BFA I had a great career as an Interior Designer. I have continued drawing and painting over the years as time has allowed. I am now able to spend more time on my art and I am now enjoying painting pet portraits in addition to other subjects. I work primarily from photographs and guarantee my portrait work. I work in a variety of mediums including pastel, graphite and colored pencil and acrylic paint.
