Having completed an Honours degree in Anthropology studies, (specializing in Indigenous Australian Culture and Archaeological majors), Hayley has since directed her passion to painting culturally-themed portraits and décor collections.
Her artistic aim is to capture and display the beauty of indigenous children and their families from around the world, engaging the viewer with soulful eyes and colourful traditional costumes. The stunning feature paintings are complemented by mixed textile accents, including beadwork, leatherwork, fabrics and glass mosaics. This unique and original combination creates a point of difference in the popular work.
Drawn to artistic pursuits since childhood, Hayley also draws inspiration for her décor collections from cultural and nature themes and she enjoys using bold, striking colours and textured finishes using acrylics on canvas.
Hayley lives on the Sunshine Coast with her husband and son and has been painting professionally since 2005 for private sales. Her work is on display in several Melbourne and Sydney restaurants, galleries and Sunshine Coast gift stores. [
