I've loved to draw, paint, and work with clay since I was a little girl. My maternal grandmother, Henrietta Flechsing Badraun, gave me my first lesson in oil painting before I was old enough to go to school. She learned from her father, who traveled across the United States in a covered wagon, selling his artwork along the way. I have experimented with many art forms, including acrylic landscapes, graphic design, pottery, cartooning, and children's book illustration. My favorite medium has always been oil painting.
