Christy DeKoning grew up in Sydney, Australia before moving to Canada in 1991. With formal training in singing and classical ballet, Christy worked as a vocalist on the Vancouver music scene in the early 90’s, and then as a makeup artist for several years before finally concentrating her career in Fine Arts.
In the past several years, Christy has completed over 50 commissioned watercolor portraits for clients worldwide. Christy now lives in Southwestern Ontario, Canada with her husband, two sons, two cats and a backyard full of squirrels (but no mice!). Her ACEO work will be featured in the Spring 2008 edition of ACEO Magazine.
