Whenever, I sit and take my brushes, I forget about the world around me, and enjoy the power God has given me, "creativity".
I don't have any specific method of doing watercolor. Sometimes my painting starts with nothing in my mind. I just look at the white textured paper and see shapes in it. Then I let my imagination take the control. Other times, I might start with a pre-sketched theme and just follow that drawing. I used to draw my subject outlines with pencil on the watercolor paper prior to using color, but not anymore. If you look at my 2008 works, you won't find any pencil marks on them. I love painting outdoors unless it is winter time and too cold. Therefore, people might think that I am painting the subject right in front of me, but when they see the difference they get surprised. As I mentioned, I draw and paint from imagination most of the times.
I love nature and new places. Trees and architecture are the two subjects I am especially interested in. I have done paintings periodically, but the key to success is the chance to practice everyday. During the last 3 years my time has been mostly devoted to producing digital art, and animating my 3D models.
Who knows may be one day, I set up my own art gallery online, the kind that everyone can safely watch with no age limits... Good for all family members.
