I am originally from South Korea, where I was graduated from Cheong Ju Univerisity with a BFA in art. I moved to America a few years ago, and recently, I married a lovely man who inspired me to get back into painting on a full time basis. He is very encouraging, yet doesn't merely flatter me, and I have come to rely on his keen insight, as it is often very difficult for artists to be objective about their own work. Many paintings, such as this one, depict a female figure whose head is tilted, to show a perspective of a world slightly skewed.
