Art and Psychic Research were of intense interest and continue to be. Karen became domesticated early, learning to balance housework and homework, in order to create more time for art and metaphysical research. At age 18 Karen was known as a "Jesus People" following the quest, she explored the U.S., painting as she traveled. Married at 21, she mothered three children and now is Grandmother.

She also does woodworking, sculpting, and clothing design and construction. Karen's hobbies besides art, are cave exploring and Paranormal Investigations. She is one of the original "Elsa," (environmental living & saving animals) members. an Artist, Author, Chakra Energy Worker and Karuna Reiki Master, Psychic Researcher, code-breaker, and Ghost Hunter.
