I've been teaching botanical studies in Columbus, Ohio. I'm doing a little TV to promote the conservatory's art classes. They are trying to create a certification degree around my watercolor botanical class.
I became an Chicago interior designer in the early 1970's and later, in Columbus, Ohio, a fine art librarian, till 1981. I went on to own an art supply store for 27 years with my artist/painter Ron Newman. We painted in our studio upstairs and developed a gigantic collection of our own work. Partly retired, I am now teaching art in after school programs. In the afternoons, I devote time to teaching art to the seniors of the community. My greatest influences are Winslow Homer for America, Da Vinci for Italy and Turner for England. For now, I'm enjoying my painting at home and working Boundless Gallery.com!
