Daniel Fishback is recognized as a regional impressionist landscape painter and colorist. Dan's paintings, often landscapes and cityscapes, are usually chosen because they have touched him in a certain way, creating emotions or moods that he wants to convey through his artwork. He enjoys painting "en plein air" (in the open air) to capture the essence of the landscape, seeing light, shadow and color in their truest forms.

His award winning paintings have been exhibited locally in many venues and galleries through juried art competitions and cooperative arrangements with local businesses. Many of his paintings hang in private and corporate collections.

He is an Artist Member of the St. Louis Artists' Guild.
