I began painting during my last year of college. I had always enjoyed opportunities to be creative, so I decided to buy a few tubes of acrylic paint. I liked it so much that I just started painting all the time...and haven't stopped. I studied statistics, so painting has been a much-appreciated creative outlet for me.
While I have no formal art training, I have learned very much through almost-daily practice. I paint simply because I love to and because it makes me happy.

Each of my paintings listed on Boundless Gallery (unless otherwise specified in the item description) has been painted on a canvas that I built myself. I assemble each frame by hand, stretch the canvas over it, and apply a gesso primer. This allows me to ensure that each piece is well-made and sturdy, with deep edges that look great without a frame. ALL of my paintings are ready to hang.
COMMISSIONED WORK: Because I build each canvas myself, I am able to create custom pieces of almost any size. I welcome commissioned work, and am happy to answer questions.
