In 1977 J Rae joined the Air Force which took her to San Antonio, Texas and Denver, Colorado with Temporary Duty throughout the West and Eastern Coast. She earned a Still Photography Degree while in the Military and loved her position as Still Photographer for Air Force Dignities, Alert, Combat & Mission Photographer. She accompanied numerous rescue and refueling missions during which she was Combat & Mission Photographer at the beginning of ‘Desert Storm’.

J. Rae Pariza
In 1977 J Rae joined the Air Force which took her to San Antonio, Texas and Denver, Colorado with Temporary Duty throughout the West and Eastern Coast. She earned a Still Photography Degree while in the Military and loved her position as Still Photographer for Air Force Dignities, Alert, Combat & Mission Photographer. The Coastal, Mountain and Historic environments in which she has lived has
greatly stimulated her, as can be seen by the subject matter she has chosen to focus upon.
In the Summer of 2001 she reincarnated her creative atmosphere between two loves, Oil Painting and Photography. West Middlesex, Pennsylvania is where she chose to retire there, among the Amish Farmers and rolling countryside. For six years she maintained a home and studio nestled near the scenery and wildlife which created a new dimension of paintings.
Just recently...August of 2007, she returned to her love, her 'real' home, COLORADO.
She now works from her home with her husband and 3 dogs in the city of Montrose!
She has already become a Member of the 'Art Scene' there where she can be found at Saturday and Wednesday Markets as well as every Thursday Night at 'Main in Motion'.
Her work is hung in several Restaurants and Coffee Houses. The first Friday of each month, J. Rae can be found as one of the Artist's participating in 'Art Walk Montrose'.
All artwork is varnished giving exceptional protection against dust, sunlight, aging & scratches. The varnish enhances the depth & color of the artwork and maintains the original quality for many years.
