Prior to devoting her time to full time fine art, she was a teacher in the same area. Having grown up and educated herself in this Brandywine Valley, she became intrigued by the Brandywine style of painting made famous by Andrew Wyeth, one of her neighbors in the region. She has since developed her own style of painting, but the subject matter of her work is still indicative of this magnificent region of the country.

She has been represented by numerous galleries and has participated in many shows. Is currently a member of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society and the Cape May County Art League.
