| | Using nature as my subject, I translate my impressions in prints both traditionally and abstractly. I concentrate on design, color and texture using many layers of color and various media. Dimension is also achieved by applying hand-made paper or natural materials. I challenge myself by using different printmaking processes to define an image. I am currently exploring collagraphs and monoprints. When warm weather hits I enjoy plein air painting of landscapes and garden scenes. I paint primarily in oil on canvas. |
