I paint in watermedia, (watercolor, acrylic, gouache ...pronounced gwash..., or casein) often combining media to get the effect that's needed for a particular painting. I love to exaggerate things...whether it's the color of something, or the shape, or the value contrast. I will paint any and all subjects, but it has to be something that interests or challenges me. My newest work is inspired by Google Earth....Talk about boundless reference material! I'm really enjoying the patterns and colors....I've vowed to create a minimum of 50 in this series....It will be interesting to see where I end up!
