I paint in watermedia, (watercolor, acrylic, gouache ...pronounced gwash..., or casein) often combining media to get the effect that's needed for a particular painting. I love to exaggerate things...whether it's the color of something, or the shape, or the value contrast. I will paint any and all subjects, but it has to be something that interests or challenges me. I do like to work in a series, but not necessarily bounded by subject. For example I did a series of paintings in 2003-4 representing my 47th year. I began on my birthday in October and painted a painting a week, finishing with 52 paintings on my 47th birthday.
