Sigmoune Ferdinand Velasco also known as "SIGFRED"was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1964 but moved back to the Philippines when he got married. A Furniture Designing major from the University of Sto. Tomas, although originally he planned to take up Culinary Arts. I worked there for a few years as a graphic designer in a publishing company then concentrate on my illustration career on my own then discovered Costa Rica and found my love in the fine arts. The painting brought back vague reminiscences of Cuzco's surrounding mountain top, as one heads downhill to Machu Pichu. Yet there was lot more beyond a landscape. Magic realism?
