At the age of 4 Cody had begun the typical artist/painter life. Cody would spend countless hours in the sunroom drawing and painting everything he saw. Together with his mother's encouragement, he enrolled directly to the Academy of Realist Art in Ontario, Canada. The curriculum and techniques learned at the school are based on 19th century European styles and emphasize representational painting. At the age of 4 Cody had begun the typical artist/painter life. Cody would spend countless hours in the sunroom drawing and painting everything he saw. Together with his mother's encouragement, he enrolled directly to the Academy of Realist Art in Ontario, Canada. The curriculum and techniques learned at the school are based on 19th century European styles and emphasize representational painting. Cody married a fellow student from the school and moved to Baltimore in 1990. From there, he began a lucrative business painting murals in wealthy homes in the Baltimore area. Getting overworked and losing his passion, he took several years off to find his motivation. Today Cody enjoys painting only subjects which appeal to him and he does love his city of Baltimore.

In our new city skyline collection the goal was present a tasteful and artistic view of the beautiful cities our generation has created. Where possible, artists reside in the city in which they have painted. Each artist had agreed prior to starting that only the highest level of detail would be accepted, as can be seen in the great care to real life representation. [hide]
