I was born in 1949. In my childhood all I was doing was drawing; anything with a pencil, pen, etc. Then I started to paint portraits, land and seascapes, street scenes, etc. I was making a living with my art at the age of fifteen. As I grew older and advanced my knowledge and education in fine arts, and in general, I decided to do abstract paintings. So, I have about three thousand abstract paintings sold in five continents, perhaps in thirty countries, mostly of course in the USA.
These paintings are sold through some art galleries that I have been represented by. I prefer not to list those art galleries at this point.
I use mostly oil on canvas or on panel, sometimes acrylics, mixed-medium, etc. I express what I feel like expressing once I am in front of that beautiful snow white canvas. That is the theme of my art work. The result is unique, rich, expressive, sophisticated, and beautiful. That makes my day. I like to paint in the daylight, but I can paint in artificial light as well if I have to.
I also sculpt, preferably by using drift roots that I pick at precisely the only location they exist in the world (sea side). That’s very unique, and smart too. Beautiful too. Sophisticated too.
However, my most important art works are my three sons, the greatest in the universe and beyond:
1. Benjamin J. Kuzay, 1979
2. Barry A. Kuzay, 1986
3. Daniel S. Kuzay, 1991
One more thing about me: No smoking, no drugs at all. I drink either one can of beer or one or two glasses of red wine in the evening. That’s all.
If I was asked who are my favorite artists? I would say J.M. Basquiat, Willem de Kooning, Frank Stella, and many many more!.. [
