Member since: Jul-22-06Registered in: United States | John Kaufmann studied painting at the Art Students League in NY and the Pennsylania Academy of Fine Arts. From 1958 to 1959, he travelled and painted extensively througout Europe, and studied fresco painting at the Istituto Statale D'Arte in Florence, Italy.
In addition to painting, John Kaufman has written and illustrated dozens of children's books for leading publishers. His paintings have been exhibited at Lever House in New York and Great Neck House. He currently teaches adult education watercolor classes at Queensboro Community College. |
