Thank you for visiting my page! I hope you enjoy looking at my work.
My earliest paintings were architectural pieces done in watercolor, which remains my favorite medium. I have dabbled in acrylics and oils, as well as oil pastels, and each medium led to a different expression in my work. My subjects include water, flowers and architectural, floral and still life abstracts. I also enjoy doing whimsical interior scenes.
My color choices are usually clear, fresh, jewel-toned, but I have worked with dark, layered hues. [

My color choices are usually clear, fresh, jewel-toned, but I have worked with dark, layered hues. I sometimes add a little touch of glitter or metallic paint to my pieces.
Recently I started to work in black and white, either pen and ink on paper, or straight onto canvas. These drawings are a departure from my previous work because they are more spontaneous and lyrical. They are inspired by the art of henna and tribal tattoos.
Travel, weather and nature are my biggest influences. I also like to ‘paint’ with my camera, abstract images being my favorite. [
