Approximately 5 years ago, while refurbishing an antique table, I accidentally melted a plastic water bottle with my torch. I noticed the plastic became pliable and easy to twist, turn, and shape into objects. I began experimenting with recycled plastic and eventually began to make life-like landscape sculptures. Each piece takes 10-40 hours to complete and requires 10–150 recycled milk containers and water bottles, depending on the size and density of the sculpture. Very little paint, if any, is used as the colors come from the colored plastic caps.
