About the Artist
Hi there, and thanks for viewing some of my work. Going as far back as I can remember I have always had a fascination with the process of creating. As an artist, there is nothing more fulfilling to me than the mental gymnastics which takes place as I navigate through the creative process. I don’t have any formal training as far as my artistic ability. All which I’ve created to date was exclusively the result of inspiration and passion.
Whether or not I have a general concept or idea which I want to visually articulate onto a piece of canvas or paper, the overall process alone, the present-tense awareness and focus, I find absolutely compelling.
Typically I don’t limit myself to a particular medium, method or motif in what I do. I’m constantly seeking a new experience each time I put paint to canvas.
Over the years I’ve created and sold a relatively dynamic assortment of work. I went through a period of fine art photography, from there I shifted to tamper with some graphically illustrated work, and from there ultimately leading me to where I am today with my paintings.
Most of my art pieces have sold primarily within Canada and United States, however several pieces have made there way as far as onto the walls of a University in Spain.
