Hello. Thank you for your interest in learning more about 'Les'. She sells her 'individual' art under the name of 'Les'. She is a self-taught artist. When very young, she discovered her grandfather's paint box and easel in the attic. She started experimenting with them and immediately fell in love with painting.
She has been selling paintings and drawings since elementary school. She also spent her time designing, drawing and painting menus for restaurants. Though she started out in Oils and Watercolors, she switched to Acrylics which are her preferred choice for her current paintings. She also enjoys doing pencil portraits.
Her artwork has been used on the stage in plays and also exhibited at airshows. Her artwork currently resides in office buildings, restaurants and private collections throughout the United States, Holland and Greece.
All of her paintings are originals, are hand-signed 'Les' and come with a certificate of authenticity.
DISTANT THUNDER DESIGNS: Les and her husband started this company in 1992. They create metal art, metal art sculpture, woodcrafts, wood crafting supplies and many other creations. Each time you buy an 'art piece' which is a collaboration by the two of them, it will be inscribed/signed with their logo for Distant Thunder Designs.
