Here's a little bit about my art education:
My mom was a big influence for me. She is an artist herself and besides blessing me with her good looks and talent (with a little help from my dad with his photographer's eye). She and my dad encouraged me from a very young age. My first watercolor, done at the age of three, is proudly displayed in their home.

I studied at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit as well as a couple semesters at Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, MI.
Here's a little bit about my art:
I am a photo-representational painter. I primarily paint using acrylics when producing smaller compositions and using oils when creating larger compositions. My subject matter ranges from still lifes, to landscapes, to figurative works. When choosing a landscape to recreate, I'm drawn to buildings, bridges, and man made structures within nature. I'm drawn to the conflicting strong, linear shapes within an organic atmosphere. I enjoy painting figures engaging in the ordinary and in an environment complimentary to the activity.
And finally here's a bit about me:
I'm married (newly and happily). I find beauty in almost everything and daydream way too much when I drive. I pray often and thank God for my talents and Jesus for my salvation. Painting is what I love and live and I couldn't be happier as long as I have paint and a canvas and a good piece in sight.
*My pieces on boundlessgallery.com are only a small sampling of my work, but hopefully I can share more with you in the future.
Enjoy! [
