Juanita's work has been exhibited nationally since the mid-80s in major judged and/or juried quilt shows and invitational exhibits. Recently her work has been shown in several international venues including several American Embassies. She has been featured in many regional & national magazines and images of her work can be found in numerous publications. She pays homage to the traditional quilt through the use of her own hand dyed cotton cloth which she marries in her distinctive way with commercial cotton fabrics. She enjoys hand quilting, but has machine quilted the majority of her wall art since 1991.
