Hello and welcome to my vision of the world. I have always had a great respect for our land. I would say it was handed to me through my heritage of Cherokee Indian. Hello and welcome to my vision of the world. I have always had a great respect for our land. I would say it was handed to me through my heritage of Cherokee Indian. I am the person who see’s land being cleared for yet another strip mall of nothing shops and cringes. I love to paint my world of a wishful utopia. I have been involved in the visual arts since a child. I have dabbled through all different mediums but have settled on acrylic because of the versatility. I respect all artists, the well-known classics, as well as the little known.
My world is small, but through my artwork it is a vast never-ending landscape. Every painting I do is an escape from my reality. To know my world is simple, the search for a place where there is a cleansing freedom and much beauty. I have always felt bound to please others with my artwork until I decided to do what I truly needed to. I do not paint a painting more than once. Everything I do is completely hand done. I pour my heart and soul into each piece. I could never reproduce any piece I do because each piece is made up of a mood, a feeling, what is happening in my life, and just a certain thought process. I could never copy that.
I have done various art shows and have even accomplished artist of the month through an arts guild. My work has been donated to charity art auctions and I will continue to do this. I will never stop painting till I am no longer a part of this world. I will accomplish much more on my artistic journey. An artist’s life is sometimes very hard but I am what I am and this is what I must do. Come join me in my alternate reality, my vision of my world.
Thank you for supporting the arts.
