I've always doodled and drawn, but when my sister gave me a lot of her old paint brushes I found a better avenue for creative adventures. I made a lot of paintings and found that abstracts are my favorite style. After 10 years passed I was feeling blocked and at the advice of a friend I layed a canvas flat on a table and started pouring on lots of paint and just playing with it (finger painting). I discovered techniques that look beautiful and have been developing those techniques ever since. Now, years later, my art has blossomed into a variety of avenues stemming from those basic techniques. Every new painting is still a learning experience and the quality is steadily increasing with the experience gained.
In the last year I have started exploring another avenue in creative expression. I start with an original painting, then scan it into my computer and manipulate it with photo editing software. This gives me the tools to turn an already beautiful painting into awesome works of art.
