Philip Taylor grew up in the Midwest between the Mississippi River and Hwy 61. Taylor is a serious emerging artist who utilizes an eclectic mix of material including paint, found objects and elements of graphic design.
After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and beginning graduate studies, Taylor decided not to become financially ruined and instead invested in himself by extensive independent artist research and museum study which has contributed to his personal style of abstract painting.

Taylor draws on the likes of abstract masters such as Motherwell and Schnabel in creating his own personal, contemporary, expressionistic style.
Focus, insight and fresh perspective are essential components incorporated in Taylor’s work. Taylor brings an energetic managed approach to his body of work that insures each work is uniquely individual and creative.
Taylor has participated in Solo and Group exhibitions and has work available through Boundless Galleries and through the artist. Taylor’s work can be found in private collections throughout the States.
