Started my painting life doing Encaustic art which is painting with wax.My Mother God bless her soul was a great oil painter so it was natural for me to try that medium-I fell in love with oils.I moved from England to Australia in 1972 and instantly enjoyed the vibrant colours of the Bush and of course the Aussie lay back style of life.I now live close to the beaches of Sydney and paint everyday-I am lucky. As they say "The first brush stroke is the hardest" once you have started the painting it is nearly finished.
