I have had a lifelong love of photography, starting with my first Minolta 35mm. back in the 70’s. Throughout the years I have worked with oil paints, watercolor, drawing, and studied composition and color theory. Having a family to raise and a busy career never left the time I would have liked to work on my art. Today I am able to dedicate more time to my photography.
The Digital Age is a great happening. I can control the whole process from start to finish. I make my own prints using Epson Archival Paper and Ultrachrome Ink. [

I am from Western North Dakota. Our landscape is mostly rolling hills. Not having great mountain vistas, pounding surf from the ocean, or great city scenes to capture, I was not sure what to photograph. On my ventures in the country I noticed abandoned buildings from days past. My passion today is to find unique buildings,hope for dramatic lighting, and get a great composition. Some day the elements will dispose of these treasures. I am happy to preserve their memory.
All prints are hand signed and inspected for any imperfections. The full size print will have greater detail than what the monitor can display.
