A Better Postcard - at least it makes me want to see the show.

I blogged about a postcard to an earlier show and thought it didn't do much to bring buyers to the opening. Here is a postcard that I received recently that makes me want to go see the show. Bright color and clear visuals telling a buyer what is being offered. The show is by Southern Glass Works.

It doesn't have mystery, but this card does show fantastic execution of a few pieces.

What do you think, do you like the earlier one better or this one? I'm going to go see this show and pick up an item or two for people on my Christmas list.

I agree that this (The Great Glass . . .) is a much better postcard. If I had the opportunity, I would definitely go see this show.

I went and saw the show in this card. It was really fantastic. I arrived right before it opened and took home 3 pumpkins for $120 total. I'm going to give them away for Christmas presents. I saw one of the Southern Glass guys a little later that day and they sold out everything in two hours!

They also had nice photos and story in the local paper's weekend section. I'm sure that helped the draw.

Nice photos of the work, where you can tell what you are going to see, really helps, but we all knew that already.
