Latest Addition to BoundlessGallery - Search Tags
Todd, co-founder and programmer, sums up our thinking on the new addition in the tag 'help' pop-up window. We have to wait for enough tags are set before it can go on the customer side but that won't be too long.

Why are you introducing tags and why should I use them?
Feedback from our artists and other sellers, has told us that some of our categories are too restrictive and that your work may not be found because the pieces are lumped together in broad groups. Tags allow you to create your own "virtual category" within each category which in turn allows buyers to narrow down their search and find your work more easily.
This is just the first of many improvements to come in the next few days and weeks, thanks to everyone who has taken the survey, a lot of your thoughts are priceless.

Are you guys gonna send out a NEWSLETTER of some kind to get artists to do this? Not everyone looks at the Blog.
I have done all of mine that are up and would really like to see this get going. I hope you dont require a lot of participation before it gets moving. The savvy artists will jump on this and so will others when they are trying to figure out how to increase their sales.
I have told everyone in my group to do it.
It was a lot of work, but I hope it pays off. :)

We usually have enough quick response when we put alerts on the provider home page to make this happen sooner rather than later, so will give it a day or two, but they will be up very soon for sure.
