Suggestion;
Artists who have made sales, try and add customers who purchased from you as friends. You can thank them, ask them to tell others about their experience buying from you and also request they leave feedback for orders if they haven't yet. (Boundless sends multiple emails requesting customers to leave feedback, but sometimes they just don't :(.)

Okay everyone, most of the new features are up. You can now add both artists and customers as friends on Boundless. There is also really simple to use software to invite friends, family, and other artists to Boundless in the Friends section.
Try it out!
This change means that customers now have their own "My Art Pages", which by default are private until they add you as a friend. These pages will display their purchased art, "My Collections" lists and even a "Art Tour" where they can add photos or videos of their spaces. The idea being that the more artists and customers can interact, the easier it is to feel good about buying art online.
There are also new messaging features. The message canvas is now an on-the-fly public greeting system, whereas "My Messages" are private correspondence between users.
Events also get more publicity now as they are shown on customer homepages. There is an easy zip code locater too, so be sure to list all your "real world" shows, because now more people will be seeing events from the "Boundless Directory".
Please be patient as we have just added a lot of code, there are sure to be some bugs. Were working hard to make BoundlessGallery.com, THE BEST PLACE TO BUY OR SELL ART ONLINE.

I don't know if you are aware of this.. but a huge number of artist's web sites.....now link to the home page of Barbara Furlong when you click onto the LINK button from the artist's own website. Does this originate from your site or mine? I checked it because I thought it was just mine.

Janeice, could you please explain more. I checked your Boundless site and couldn't find any links to Barbara Furlong anywhere. We are trying to find out what you mean, but so far don't see it.
Could you cut and paste the address of the page where this happens and describe which link goes to Barbara's page?

What is this feature going to do?
"Get emails about this artist"
Are these updates that Boundless will send? Or do we get to create the updates that will go out? What kind of updates will they be getting if Boundless sends the updates?
I couldnt find anywhere on there where I could send emails to a bulk list of people who have subscribed to the updates.

Janeice, There is a place in the affliate program where each artist sets where their affliate links point, either BG's homepage or the Artists Profile Page. If you have Barbara Furlong set as your referer and she points to her page, all affliate links will take you to her page.
We are looking at this now, to see if there is a better way to do this. Thank you for reporting your experience, we need to know these things.
Sharon, This feature will notify interested customers when you do certain actions on BoundlessGallery, We will send out the notices. I'm guessing you can subscribe to get updates about yourself in order to see what arrives. Try it out and please lets us know what you think,

Janeice, the affiliate links should soon (maybe even now) take you to where the host points, not just your referer.
Previously, you were sent to Barbara's page because she was being credited in our affliate program because you clicked through her link. (Which is a good thing, it means the right people are earning money through affliate sales).
But what was happening was we were keeping her stored as your referer, so that all links went to her account. Now we will still be keeping the original referer, but the links will point to whomever's page you came from.
So to try and clarify, if Janeice S. is my referer she gets affliate credit for any purchases I make after clicking through her link, but if I click on Barbara F's link now it takes me to Barbara F's page, even though Janeice is me referer.
Is that clear at all?

I just reset the link to Artist's profile. Checked it out and it works! That is what I was hoping for.
