I've written before about the benefits of having a blog. Dan at Emptyeasel.com has a nice article about it too. Well, Francesca Signorelli is the latest boundless blogger to catch my eye. She writes, "It's that simple. What brings me to the canvas is fundamentally a desire to play. With liquid color." I hope that speaks to others as much as it does to me.

Circus Act

We've been juggling a lot of exciting new projects here at Boundless, and have more big things coming soon. The notion of juggling reminds me of the circus(which never seems to come through town anymore). The circus in fact, is a lot like the online art biz.

You've got performers, promoters, and patrons. It takes all three parties to be successful. You have to have great performers for the promoters to promote, and for the patrons to patronize. But great performers can't perform without being paid, and need the promoters to pull in patrons who will pay.

BoundlessGallery is working to be the Barnum & Bailey's of online art, we've got great performers and great patrons, we're hopeful that we are serving both groups well enough to make them both promoters. The more we all promote the better it is for everyone. I've got to get back to juggling, proper preparation prevents poor performance, but please continue to send in suggestions you'd like to see at Boundless, or your toughts on things already on the site. We are trying to put on a good show and really value your input.


Try not to juggle too much yourselves, it can be dangerous :)

Art Stats for our artists; you've told us that you want 'em, so we're gonna give 'em. Our programmers are developing the necessary code to track how many times your pieces and profile page are being viewed. We'll show these asap.

Boundless Community for everyone; My Friends has been a hit so far, so we're working on building our community in other ways and also refining our current features. You'll see some great new stuff shortly.

Affiliate Program for everyone; earn $$$ by sending customers or artists to BoundlessGallery.com. We've revamped our program, with new 30 day tracking, so that you earn 5% of any referral sale made within a full month of you sending a visitor.
And, we've also created Affiliate Artists, our refer-an-artist program, which allow members to earn up to 40% of a new artist's member plan. You can more than pay for your own member plan, just by recommending Boundless to your artist friends.

Color Picker for customers; the section of the art finder where customers can choose a color from their own images just got a little upgrade, its up now.

Newest Art was added as a category on the homepage, now artists can get a little extra exposure just by adding their latest pieces.

BoundlessGallery.com Providers; Make More $$$!

We’re gearing up for the busiest time of year; the holiday shopping season!
To coincide, we’ve got a big announcement; you can now reduce your commission rate at BoundlessGallery to as low as 0% with our new Member Plans.

*Current providers must login to choose a plan or go to 'My Plan' on your account page*

There are 3 plans for artists and 2 plans for galleries. Every plan has identical features only the commission structure differs. The best part is; each of the new plans = more money to providers on every sale. Now with the low or no commission rates the harder you work to market and sell your work at BoundlessGallery.com, the more YOU make.

What happens to current provider accounts that don’t buy a plan?
Nothing, for now… You will be able to maintain your current account and sell for the 25% commission fee. These account types may be discontinued in the future. However, the membership plans were designed to benefit providers, so choosing a plan is in your best interest financially. New members will have to choose a plan.
