About Matt:
Boundless: What drew you in to acrylic painting?
Matt:
I have a huge passion for art, which has been lifelong. I started very young with pencil and pen, and painting was just a natural progression for me. It took me a little time to get a grip on it, then off I went.
Boundless: What drives your creative process?
Matt:My goal starting out is to impress myself first, and I figure other folks will like it too. I'm often very driven toward bright bold colors, and I seem to have a relationship with them that even now is getting stronger.
There are times I do try to switch to other modes, such as using earthy tones, more subtle, etc., but the bright and bold thing seems to be where my heart lies for the most part.

The highly charged races for the presidential nominations here in the US have inspired Boundless’ democratic spirit. To this end, we are giving every artist even more exposure, and customers even better organization of features, and on the whole improved navigation for all.
A new tabbed navigation scheme will be implemented throughout the entire site to help unify and simplify members’ browsing experiences. You can see the first example of our new tabs on the homepage right now.
