The Montrose Public Art Experience (PAX) will again this year be displaying a new collection of sculptures in Centennial Plaza in downtown Montrose. As part of the opening weekend events, we are again sponsoring a silent auction of works donated by regional artists. These works will include paintings, drawings, photographs, pottery, constructions, and weavings, as well as fine art prints and giclees. Proceeds from the silent auction will go to the Montrose Public Art Experience.
I will be donating one of my works for this event. The silent auction will take place on the first floor of the stunningly restored building at 447 E. Main from 5 to 9 PM, on Friday, October 5, 2007 in Montrose, Colorado. We will have appropriate music and refreshments during the auction. The event promises exposure to hundreds of area art lovers.
