Oh good...Jennie has opened the door.....
I dont like that it is now harder for people to "see" that custom work is offered. It might not occur to them that they can even get that from an artist just by looking at their portfolio now.
I know before it was just a list of words, but it was easy enough to find.
And the FB section is now a lot less impressive with this tiny little window that they have to scroll down. |

My experience is that the golden rule of good website design is to make it as easy for the visitor to find information as possible. The tabs add another tier of complexity to the navigation for the visitor to work through whereas before the information was just listed there at the side of the profile.
Having said that the tabs do 'clean up' the page layout and make the images the main focus of the profile page which I guess is a good thing in itself. |

These are all good points...
Jennie - The interact section was my biggest bug too. I had our design tweaked to give it more balance, so look for that change soon.
Sharon - I'll see if we can't get that FB to open larger for our top sellers, we do have to balance it against those with no feedback yet, but I think we can come up with something to show off our longer lists.
Daniel - Your right, with each extra click it is more work for the visitor, but there's also a point of information overload and there's a point where text just gets ignored. We could see that overall those links we're under used in our opinion. Time will tell if the new Interact tab is better.
Hopefully, having the tab navigation throughout the site will help the customers be familiar with it, and have them checking out what is found on each. Most buyers spend a lot of time on the site before they finally commit, so I think they'll be able to locate most features, and it also puts the focus back on the art, which will be getting even better when the bigger thumbs project gets completed. |

Okay, we've got more balanced look now, and replaced the 'hide' button with a 'Show All Feedback'. So, while the tab doesn't open to a huge page, you can still link to your feedback page from your MySpace, etc. and showoff your well earned recognition, and customers who are looking to read the feedback can find it.
Please feel free to share more thoughts or comments. |

Ever since the new tabbed design came about, I am not able to print the entire page. Sometimes I need to print the pages because they have thumbnails and prices and I can use them as price lists, for I also sell off-line and go away from computer.
It seems the page is now treated as frames, and each frame seems to have preset dimensions, making any adjustment with margin and other things impossible when I attempt to print the pages.
Right now only way I can print the pages are to convert each web page to PDF file, and print the pdf file, which is too much of work just to print the page. |

Prior to the tabbed profile, I was able to highlight only those thumbnails and prices and print just those to have a "price list to go." |

Never mind. I did the highlight method and it prints just fine. Computer was probably in a bad mood when I tried last time. |
