is it like the number of the best selling artist always remains 48!! and why not 50...there are so many other best sellers here...why the number always remain 48.....is there something about selling through BG only that you enter the best sellers list ....what if one sell through personal contacts??!! I don't know why Sharon's name has not been there...she is really a best seller of BG !! |

Thanks Divya....I actually had not noticed I was missing. I have been very busy lately.
It appears that I have been dropped from Best Sellers as there is an "empty" spot out of the 48.
I sell A LOT of artwork on BG. Maybe they dont want me to sell so much anymore.....LOL

I noticed one day that if you remove a piece from listing on the same day that it was appearing in the Best Sellers list, then your name is gone for the duration of that day. So I think it was probably something like that Sharon. |

That would explain it then. I took a bunch of commissions down an marked them SOLD. It must have been displaying one of them.
It is a "bug" though and the system should automatically grab the next "available for sale" piece so that no one would be brought down.

It has to do with the number of images per page. It is programed into the system for 12 per page and 4 pages. |

I think it may be easier to program with 48 because 4 best seller artists are shown at once. 4 times 12 = 48. 48 can be divided by 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 12, whereas 50 is a bit more complicated in terms of programming. Also, one day is 24 hours and an hour is 60 minutes. "50" complicates things in terms of time sequencing. "Maybe." Just a guess. |

Exactly Janeice, your explanation have sense to me cause , i remarked, yesterday ( and not the others ..) thats exactly what happened to me, i removed a piece and !?! whoops i "desapeared" ;) and saw my Art back few hours later (10-15hrs...) I'm not sure but i think when updating the piece that appears on BSArtists , have same effect-bug

48 it is not the exact numbers of "site/page/fittin" !?
I always though it was, us, and costumers too , can see up to 48 by page so it have sense , but yeah, why not a second? i don't know, this will makes 96 best selling artists, will starting to looks as the 5th,6th,7th first "Browse OUr Art"s page no!?
I have fought lots last year i was in and out of the best selling artists, if a costumer was purchasing 2 or 3 paintings... e v e r y t i m e it had Only One Space for 100%positive fb review , which they are taking our numbers of reviews to counted, as other main points.
Don't ask me why tho, many many other artists on Best Selling artists have 3 sales same day, same costumers and so: 3 positive feedbacks reviews !!?! I had many talks about this. Even one of great costumers asked them why many artists will have 2,3 and 4 reviews more, from same day, same coostumer and other one/s ... NADA NIET RIEN!
