Without some software changes, we are stuck with an inefficient system. The best I have come up with for a group on new works is to use the double arrows to more to the bottom or top of the list. Assuming the top, you take the one you listed last and move it to the top. Then take the second from last and move it to the top. It will move the first one you put there down one spot. By continuing to do this, you eventually end up with an alphabetical listing.
Or you could do it in reverse, putting what you want listed first on the bottom, etc., then putting the second work on the bottom under the first, etc.

But none of this helps if you have only a few things you want to move around. Then it is just plain one click at a time.

I do not know of another site that has such a time-consuming and tedious process, so others do get the job done in better ways.

You are absolutely right about the inventory situation.
If you figure a system out, we would love to know about it!

Having had a day to upload and sort more works, I still have a problem with sorting inventory. I now have about 120 works listed. To avoid redundancy, I try to keep the list alphabetical. Even with the new transfer to beginning or transfer to end arrows, it still leaves me with many clicks to put something into the middle of the alphabet. For example, I uploaded 15 works in about one hour. Four minute average is pretty consistent to upload and fill in the required and optional information. I then spent more than a half hour getting them sorted into the inventory correctly. Does anyone have any hints about how to move things more effectively?
Some other sites let you move things with the mouse. Some order things by number so you can tell it to put a new item into slot 55, for example. But this click by click movement is really too slow to manage the inventory effectively.

Help!

I have not uploaded works for a while and was really happy to see the changes to the process and the inventory revisions. Great improvements, great job.

I like to sell online because you can market right from your home and you have a great big audience. I also have a local gallery that represents my sculpture. I try all the angles.

Gorgeous photo, love that yellow.
Love that painting too Alan. It's so wonderful the way you have carried that same blue from the sky to the rooftops. Moves you through the painting with fascination. Really beautiful

Love the new set up to add artwork. I like that it can be saved in case you do not finish a listing. You guys do great work!!! Keep up the changes to the positive.

Thanks, it would be nice if there was a charity function implemented at boundless gallery though!

Hi James,
There is no way to have the funds sent directly to another organization. You'd have to simply advertise where the funds will be sent and act on the honor system by donating the proceeds yourself.

Hi guys, I plan on selling my photographs to fundraise for volunteer missionary service. Is there a way to set up sales to go to a non profit account instead of to the sellers account? Message me if you know of a way.
