Here's a great hotel and it's very cheap. It's got a bus stop outside the door. We had a huge room, all marble floors, and the atmosphere was wonderful. It's got a 13th c. monastery attached with a private garden and in August, the outdoor dining in the garden was fantastic. By cheap I saying less than $100 per night. Didn't include breakfast which was $5.00 per day. |

Mindy-...no, I haven't been to the Diana fountain outside of Tivoli. Betcha every tourist (who has) has a story though! ;o)
The hotel you mentioned below sounds great--where in Italy is it? |

Just got back in town and Italy was too beautiful for words. I stayed in the Jewish Ghetto of Venice and it remember me of the movie Life is Beautiful! I hope you all get to see Italy some day...it's totally worth the troubles of travel. |

The Euro was really devastating my travel fun. It's about 70% higher this year to be in Italy. Not a good deal for Americans at all.
I did have fun anyway, but doubt I'll go back for awhile.
