If you leave town for a couple weeks, should you feel free to post that on your headline page or risk delaying a sale until you get back. My first sale on Boundless was not even noticed until 2 months after it was purchased. I went ahead and shipped it and no one complained thank goodness. I didn't think Boundless would be a go, but I was wrong. But to the point, if you post it in your headline, is that safe? Do they have access to your home or studio address? I don't see that as a worry on my side, but the internet ...will anything could happen. I guess I'm just not going to post that.
Do you wonder about this and what do you do? |

If you chose to post on your headline page, you could say something like "will not be in studio until" or "will not have e-mail access until" or something akin to that. That way, your collectors would have a head's up but it is not so specific that someone would necessarily think "gee, she is out of town"...And it wouldn't mean that your studio is unoccupied. You could also access an internet cafe to check your site as well while traveling if you so chose. |
